Dr. David Hironaga

Practice Info:

Dr. Hironaga has 30 years of practice experience in various settings; he has worked in a surgeon’s office, managed three Sears offices, ran a private practice in Downtown Honolulu, and for the last 20 years, contracted with the military. These experiences have given him a wide perspective on peoples’ vision and the unique situation of each person.
Your vision is an experience only you feel; Dr. Hironaga believes his job is to help you maximize your vision so you get the most out of your life, whether it’s seeing your golf ball sailing beyond 300 yards, or staring at your computer screen all day at work.
He looks forward to joining the wonderful doctors and staff at Windward Vision Center and providing patients with the best care of their eyes and vision.

Education:

  • 1994 graduate of the UC Berkeley School of Optometry

Personal:

When out of the office, Dr. Hironaga enjoys (the occasional) golf outing, hiking, cardio workouts, DIY projects on his home, cooking, exploring new places to eat and wines to try.
