Dear Patients,
In light of the evolving pandemic and strong suggestions by public health officials, we have made the difficult decision to temporarily close our practice for all routine and non-urgent eye care, until further notice.
We do not make this decision lightly; however, our top priority is the health and well-being of our patients, families, staff and community.
You can still place contact lens orders by calling or texting our office and we will ship directly to your home free of charge.
You can call and leave messages. We have remote staff checking messages periodically throughout the day. They can help you refill prescriptions, answer any questions, cancel or schedule appointments.
We will still have doctors on call for medically urgent and emergency-related questions. They will be able to provide telehealth examinations. Doctors can video chat with you for a remote office visit. We will require verbal consent to perform a tele-visit and file this visit under your medical insurance.
We will continue to monitor the situation as it evolves and with the guidance from the county, state and the CDC. For now, we will determine on a weekly basis when it is appropriate for us to return to our normal business hours.
Again, please understand that we are making this decision with the health and well-being of our patients, our families, our team and our community in mind.
